Refund Policy

As electronic contributions become increasingly common, The Care and Concern is developing a donation return policy to ensure a fair and open handling of refund requests. All contributors are requested to treat their gifts with decency and attention by The Care and Concern. The Care and Concern is cognizant of the possibility of inadvertent contributions as well as the possibility of contributors' opinions shifting. The Care and Concern will consider each request for a gift refund and will do its utmost to abide by it. If the Care and Concern seeks additional documentation or information, the donor must cooperate.

On the other hand, The Care and Concern is free to refuse reimbursement requests and has the option to do so, especially when a tax exemption certificate has been issued.

• If you would like the Care & Concern organization to return your donation
• You must submit your request for a refund in writing or by email, and Care and Concern must receive it within 15 (fifteen) days of the earlier of the following:
• If you donated via a computer, the internet, or another method, OR
• Presented the demand draft or cheque to Care and Concern or a representative chosen by the Foundation for this function, OR
• Send Care and Concern the check or demand draft using a different delivery method.

The written refund request must be sent to the following address and contain all of the following details about the donation: the day it was made.

• Amount of the gift
• Please enter the number from your check or draft if you made a donation that way.
• Please give the credit card information if you used one to make the gift (last 4 digits only).
• Please make sure to specify the Donation-ID if the donation was made online.
